The missing plane

Today we tell you about a

missing plane whose passengers were pronounced dead by the world but they were travelers and forced to eat the meat of their dead friends and comrades to survive. Yes, this was true in 1972. Uruguay’s college boys, a South American country, were traveling to neighboring countries with their relatives and loved ones to play rugby. On the evening of October 13, 1972, the ship began flying from a local Argentine airport, the destination of the ship was Sandy Ego, the capital of Chile, and had 45 passengers aboard. The ship had to pass over a mountain range “Andes”. The mountain range is up to 23,000 feet high, but due to the weather and the pilot’s fault, the ship crashed on a snowy peak after hitting a rock. The pilot did not see the top due to severe snowstorms and the accident occurred. Fortunately due to the snow over 15 feet of snow on the mountains, the ship did not fly and the ship came down after colliding with a slippery peak, most of the passengers aboard the ship. The ship’s contact with the control tower was disconnected and it was understood that the ship had an accident but no one was aware of the crash. The search for the ship was started and rescue teams continued to search for the ship for eight to ten days, but due to severe snowstorm it was understood that all the passengers aboard the ship were dead and eventually all the passengers were declared dead. On the other hand, passengers aboard the ship had nothing to eat. Sixteen out of 45 people were killed in the accident. The dead were taken out of the ship and buried in the snow. There were 29 passengers alive but 5 were in critical condition. The biggest problem facing survivors was food, as well as 15 to 20 feet deep snow outside the ship, the highest snowstorm at a height of 15,000 feet. There were only 10 to 12 chocolates on the ship and 29 people who ate these 12 chocolates for 8 days. Through the transistor, the rest of the passengers learned that they had been pronounced dead on the ninth day and rescue teams had stopped searching. Hunger was bad for these travelers and when it was learned that no one would come to their aid, all the passengers were in serious trouble. Travelers waited for another 3 days, but now they were bad because of hunger. Eventually, the travelers decided to eat the meat of those who died. These travelers also promised each other that if any of them dies, the rest can eat their meat. The traveler was currently in this “snow hell” for 72 days, two and a half months, in a state of severe unconsciousness. Severe snowstorms, hunger, weakness and illnesses only 16 of the 29 people died while 13 died after the accident. Of these 16 people, two brave youths crossed more than 20,000 feet high mountains in common shoes and clothes and got help by going to the nearest town, 60 km away, and they got a new life on December 24, 1972. These 16 people are still very famous worldwide. This event is called the largest survival story in human history worldwide. A 1993 film was also made on the accident while a book was also written by the name of the ice prisoner
